Victorian Government releases draft water strategy for Melbourne; $7 billion reduction in costs forecast

The Victorian Government has this week released its draft strategy for the future of Melbourne's water supply. The strategy predicts up to a $7 billion reduction in Melbourne's water sector costs by 2050 if measures such as the increased use of rainwater, stormwater and wastewater are adopted, underpinning stronger economic growth in the State.
