This Disclaimer applies to websites owned and operated by Infrastructure Partnerships Australia Limited (IPA, our or us) under the domain names infrastructure.org.au and infrastructurepipeline.org.au (Website), and to the information, graphics, text, software, functionality and materials (Material) on the Website. This Disclaimer is not intended to form a contract between you and IPA.

Nothing in this Disclaimer is intended to exclude, restrict or modify rights which you may have under any law (including the Australian Consumer Law) (Your Consumer Rights). Your Consumer Rights include the right for services to be fit for their specified purpose and to be provided with care and skill. You can find out more about Your Consumer Rights from consumer organisations and bodies such as the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission and State/Territory fair trading authorities.

Availability of the Website

The Website is subject to interruption, breakdown, viruses, delays, interception, interference and other errors involving communications networks, computer systems, servers, providers, computer equipment and software.

We reserve the right, without notice and in our sole and absolute discretion, to discontinue, suspend or terminate any service offered by or through the Website as well as the Website at any time.

In relation to any device which you use to access the Website, we recommend that you obtain and maintain up-to-date virus, security and intrusion prevention and scanning software which is specifically designed for all devices you use to access the Website.

User Conduct

We do not authorise you to (either yourself or through any third party):

  • use any robot, spider, screen scraper, data aggregation tool or other automatic device or process to process, monitor, copy or extract any Material on the Website without our prior written permission;
  • use any device, software, process or routine to interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of the Website;
  • take any action that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on the infrastructure or bandwidth of the Website;
  • reverse engineer, reverse assemble, decompile, or otherwise attempt to discover source code or other arithmetical formula or processes in respect of the software underlying the infrastructure and processes associated with the Website; or
  • upload, email or transmit Material, or engage in conduct, which is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, offensive, deceptive, fraudulent or in breach of any person’s rights, including transmitting Material which contains viruses, worms, Trojan horses.

We may report potentially unlawful conduct to police and other relevant authorities.

We do not encourage you to send confidential information or protected Material to us through the Website. Any such Material will be treated as non-confidential, non-proprietary and unprotected information unless we otherwise agree.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude completely all liability to any person for loss or damage of any kind (however caused, including by negligence) arising from or relating in any way to any Material on the website or the use of or access to the Website. Where any law implies a warranty into this Disclaimer which may not lawfully be excluded, then to the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for breach of the warranty will, at our option, be limited to the supply of the services again or the payment of the cost of having them supplied again.

Terms and Conditions

Attendee Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend an event, a replacement delegate may be sent in your place at no extra charge. Notification must be made in writing and received prior to the event commencing.

Infrastructure Partnerships Australia does not provide refunds for cancellations made less than 1 week prior to the event.

Should you wish to cancel your registration prior to the 1-week cancellation policy, we will refund your registration fee. Any cancellation must be made in writing and sent by email.

Change of Program Content

Whilst Infrastructure Partnerships Australia will endeavour to ensure that conference programs are correct at the time of the event, we may need to alter the program prior to or during the event and reserve the right to do so at any time without notice. We also reserve the right to postpone or cancel events should we consider it necessary or appropriate to do so (in which case, refunds will be provided). Infrastructure Partnerships Australia is not responsible for any loss or damage suffered by any party as a result of the program content and any changes thereto, substitution, alteration, postponement or cancellation of an event.

Please note: not all speakers choose to provide presentation papers.

Payment

All payment is required either at the time of booking or within 7 days of an invoice being issued. If paying via EFT, a remittance advice is needed in order for the registration to be processed. If booking within 7 days of the event start date, payment is required at time of booking.
