BIS Shrapnel report predicts major project work done in Queensland will halve over next three years

A new report by BIS Shrapnel has forecast that major engineering construction work done in Queensland will contract almost 50 per cent over the three years to 2015-16, to a trough of $9.5 billion, reflecting the tailing-off in private resources investment and an expected decline in publicly funded projects.
