Louise Adams is Aurecon’s Chief Executive Officer, leading 7,500 people across 31 locations in Australia, New Zealand and Asia.

Louise is also a member of the National Advisory and Fiduciary Boards of Infrastructure Partnerships Australia, Champions of Change Coalition’s STEM and Health Group, an elected Fellow of the Australian Academy of Technology & Engineering (ATSE) and a member of Chief Executive Women (CEW).

In March 2024, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese appointed Louise as Australia’s Business Champion to Vietnam, expanding the role she has held since 2021 to further trade and investment opportunities between Vietnam and Australia. Louise is also part of the Australian Government’s Advisory Board of the ASEAN-Australia Centre, and an Advisory Board Member of the Australia Vietnam Policy Institute (AVPI).

Louise has received numerous awards including the prestigious Sir John Holland Australian CivilEngineer of the Year Award from Engineer Australia’s Civil College in 2023, an Excellence inEngineering accolade at the Women in Industry Awards in 2022, 2021 Deakin University Alumni ofthe Year Award and the CEO Magazine’s Australian CEO of the Year Award in 2020.

A Chartered Civil Engineer, Louise has over 25 years’ experience managing and designing works inboth civil and multi-disciplinary projects across diverse global locations.
