Rodney Wallis is National Australia Bank’s Executive and global lead, responsible for the bank’s activities across Fund Sponsors, Strategic Investors and Alternative Assets (including Infrastructure, Real Estate, Natural Resources and Funds Finance) for its institutional banking clients. Rodney is a well-known senior infrastructure, utilities, natural resources and finance industry leader who has worked across mergers and acquisition advisory, equity capital markets, acquisition finance, principal infrastructure investment, asset management, institutional coverage and senior leadership and management roles.

Prior to joining NAB, Rodney held roles as the Managing Director and Australian Head of Resources, Utilities, Infrastructure and Transport for MUFG Bank; as well as the Managing Director, Asia and Oceania Head of Sector Coverage and Acquisition Finance for Utilities, Infrastructure and Transport for the bank. In this capacity, Rodney provided oversight and strategic leadership for the bank’s activities across the broader Asian and Oceania region for these sectors. Rodney has also held several investment banking, asset management and institutional banking roles for ANZ Banking Group, Infrastructure Capital Group Ltd., and ABN AMRO Bank NV. Rodney was also previously the Deputy Chairperson for the New South Wales Government State Archives and Records Authority.
