Virtual events

Infrastructure Partnerships Australia is actively monitoring the impacts of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, including the advice of the Federal Government, the World Health Organisation, and measures taken by governments overseas.
The safety of our members, our team, and their families remains our highest priority. We will ensure that all appropriate measures are taken and that our response remains proportionate.
We are in daily communication with our members about the implications for the sector. We have also implemented contingency measures for our own team and all upcoming Infrastructure Partnerships Australia events.
We have already taken the decision to delay some planned events. As the advice of Government evolves, we will keep members informed as we make decisions regarding our forward events program.
We understand events are a key service offering to our members and we want to ensure each event can proceed if possible and safe. This approach may lead to cancellations at limited notice, but provides the best platform to be responsive to emerging circumstances.

Infrastructure to You

In response to COVID-19, Infrastructure Partnerships Australia has convened a weekly webinar series titled  ‘Infrastructure to You’. This series focuses on the various impacts across the infrastructure sector on the COVID-19 pandemic. We have successfully held a number of these virtual events so far with great success and our audience continues to grow week by week.
Infrastructure to the Point

The Infrastructure to the Point series features a high profile politician discussing Government’s response to the current environment and what role infrastructure plays in post crisis recovery. Recent speakers on this series have included the Victorian Treasurer, the New South Wales Treasurer, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister for Cities, Urban Infrastructure and Population.

We will continue to hold these weekly virtual events to keep our members informed on contemporary issues facing the sector.

Infrastructure Briefing Room

As we turn our focus to the recovery phase of this crisis and the critical role that infrastructure can play in driving the economic recovery, we are pleased to launch the Infrastructure Briefing Room series. The series provides a two-way dialogue for political and business leaders to discuss the pathway to recovery from COVID-19 in a small and exclusive roundtable format.
